ABSTRACT

One of the most important schools of thought to emerge from the West, particularly Britain, is legal positivism. The doctrine of the separation of law and morality is one of the fundamental foundations of legal positivism.

Our society, which is a melting pot of various races, religions, and cultures, is characterized by “Cultural Pluralism,” Legal pluralism becomes relevant in this context by elevating law above numerous norms and traditions that occasionally may contradict one another.

“Since Law is the King of Kings, far more powerful and rigid that nothing can be mightier than law by whose aid…. even the weak may prevail over strong”.
